I have a job folks, thank you very much! But there's a catch.....!

Finally, after a very long, exhausting, at times very frustrating to the point of almost giving up hope, 3 1/2 months, I have finally found a job! I just got the call today. I will be working at Willow Park in the Dietary Department. This is an assisted living facility. Yes, I will be working with all our great and noble elders:) The pay is crap, but the benefits rock. Despite the pay, I think this will give me a lot of experience, which will also be beneficial.

The downfall to this job is I will have to work on Sundays:( It is possible I may be able to attend an earlier ward for sacrament, but it won't be my ward and it will be permanent. I really struggled with this decision because I have been out of work for so long and here comes a job with a 'catch'. I also keep thinking of all those stories you hear at church where people have job offers that required them to work on Sunday's and they chose not to accept the job and just have faith that everything will work out. And then something better came along and it all works out. Maybe I should have more faith in that things would still work out if I didn't accept this job. I am still feeling guilty about my decision, perhaps I made the wrong choice in taking this job. Also keep in mind, I am completely broke, down to the last drops of savings.

So I would like to hear some feedback on this. Tell me your thoughts and if you must, your criticisms as well, just be honest.

Cutest Kids in the World!

So I'm not biased or anything:) But I seriously have the cutest and coolest niece and nephew ever!! I absolutely love hanging out with these two anytime of day or night, they are such fun kids! I adore and love them so very much! I do have another niece as well, who is equally as cute, but I couldn't find any up to date photos of her yet, so stay tuned!

All Hung Up!

Awhile back I found this great idea in a magazine for some wall hangings. I had been searching for something unique to put up on my rather large wall that goes from the entry into the living room. So when I came across this idea it was perfect and decided to take matters into my own hands. So with a little help from my mom and sister, we devised a plan to recreate what I saw. They turned out just the way I wanted them to, and I love the way they look! Anyway, here are some pics:

"It's all fun and games on the river..............until someone hits a rock!"

So a few of my friends and I decided it would be a great idea to float down the river here in Boise. It was the perfect day too! Pretty much hundred degree weather, and the freezing cold rapids make for a perfect mix! Well, there were a few rapids anyway:) Mostly flat and a lazy flowing river! We spent about an hour or so floating down to our destination. We entered the first little drop of rapids and it went smoothly, really it wasn't that big, just enough to rock the raft a little. Then we came to the next drop and WHAM, BAM!! The only rock, or boulder, more like, sticking slightly higher than the rest and I happen to land on it perfectly with my tail bone....!! It is still hurting a bit, but I am sure no permanent damage was done, but holy cow, that is a very tender spot! Anyway, the rest of the ride I was a bit more cautious about lifting the hiney up away from the bottom of the raft, it is not a good place for the rear to be while encountering hidden boulders under the water! Along the rest of the way we encountered several people that seem to enjoy being publicly stupid and annoying! They will never cease to amaze me:) Despite the sore hiney and a few annoyances, I will venture out tomorrow and float the river again!
